  1. Burundi is the first member-country to leave the ICC. In September, a UN commission investigating violence for over two years under President Pierre Nkurunziza recommended a criminal investigation by the court.
  2. India climbed 30 positions in the latest ease of doing business ranking by the World Bank, in its Doing Business 2018 report released. The report ranks India at 100 among 190 countries. Last year, India was ranked 130.
